About Mara Palmer

Mara Palmer is a self-made beauty industry entrepreneur and Seattleite with over 25-years-experience inspiring, leading by example, and opening doors for others.

Ms. Palmer’s professional experience is broad in teaching and mentoring youth who are working toward greatness.

In years past, her passion project was “Black Graduation”, a rite of passage for students identifying as Black who graduate from the local middle, and high schools and colleges in King County and beyond.

Ms. Palmer sees personal development, social-emotional support, and exposure to high-performance mentors as the recipe for success for the next generation of entrepreneurs.

A firm believer in continuing education, Ms. Palmer returned as a three-time alum to South Seattle College Bachelor’s degree in Sustainability, adding to her Supervision & Management A.A. and certifications in cosmetology, marketing, and entrepreneurship.

Her business interests include the creation of platforms for commerce. It is where she sees herself thriving and bringing her full potential to light.
